New Delhi: The second and last month of the year is about to start. This month too, banks will remain closed for many days in many cities of the country apart from weekly holidays. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the bank holiday list for November. If you are also thinking of going to the bank to submit a Life Certificate or for any other work, then you should check the bank holiday list once.

On which occasion will the banks remain closed (November Bank Holiday List)

Apart from weekly holidays, there are many festivals in November. Bank holidays have increased due to assembly elections. According to the bank holiday list released by RBI-

On November 1, 2024, due to Diwali Amavasya, there will be a holiday in the banks of Agartala, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Shillong, Srinagar.

On the occasion of Bali Pratipada on 2 November 2024, banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Mumbai, Nagpur, Lucknow will remain closed.

On the occasion of Chhath festival on 7 November 2024, there will be no work in the banks of Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi.

On November 8, 2024, banks in Patna, Ranchi, Shillong will remain closed due to Chhath festival.

All the banks in Dehradun will remain closed on 12th November 2024 on the occasion of Igas-Baghwal.

On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti on 15th November 2024, banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Telangana, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Srinagar, Shimla will remain closed.

Banks in Bengaluru will remain closed on 18 November 2024 due to Kanakadasa.

Banks in Shillong will remain closed on 23 November 2024 on the occasion of Seng Kutsnem.

All banks remain closed every Sunday and on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Accordingly, in November, banks will remain closed on 3,10,17, 24 due to Sunday. Whereas, banks will remain closed on 9 (second Saturday) and 23 due to fourth Saturday.

Banks will remain closed on this day too 

Elections are going to be held in Maharashtra and Jharkhand this month. Elections will be held in both these states on November 13 and November 20. Banks in these states will remain closed on the day of voting for the assembly elections.
