Ayodhya Deepotsav 2024: Preparations for the eighth Deepotsav are in the final stage. The work of lighting lamps on Ram Ki Paidi has almost been completed. Now the whole world including Ayodhya is waiting only for the evening of 30 October. On that day, Ayodhya, the city of everyone's beloved Lord Shri Ram, is going to create another record. People sitting all over the world will also witness this wonderful and supernatural moment. 

On the instructions of the Yogi government, the information department has made arrangements for the live telecast of this entire mega event. LED walls and LED vans are being installed to show the aura of Deepotsav in every corner of the city. Apart from this, a center has been set up for media coverage. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are underway to make Deepotsav even more grand this time.

The city's roads are being decorated with garlands of flowers and attractive lights. On the day of Deepotsav, all the events taking place at Ram Ki Paidi will be shown live on Doordarshan and social media platforms. LED screens have been arranged so that all the people of the city can enjoy this grand event from wherever they are. LED walls will be present at 20 places and LED vans at 15 places.

30 thousand volunteers will break the previous record:
This time under the instructions of the Yogi government, 30 thousand volunteers of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University are preparing to break the previous record in Ayodhya Deepotsav by lighting one diya each. By late Monday evening, the work of decorating 28 lakh diyas at 55 ghats of Saryu was completed. 30 thousand volunteers were engaged in this work. Today, i.e. on Tuesday, a 30-member team of Guinness World Records will reach the ghats and count the diyas. 

According to information, more than 35 lakh diyas are expected to be lit in the entire Ayodhya. On the other hand, the district administration has also tightened the security arrangements at the ghats. Entry of volunteers and other people without ID cards has been banned. With the cooperation of the university administration and the district administration, all efforts have been made for the Deepotsav to be held on October 30 in the evening so that this year's Deepotsav can create a world record.
