 Amethi. Three children died in a horrific road accident on Lucknow-Varanasi National Highway at around 3 am on Friday morning, while five people were injured. After the accident, the relatives of the children were inconsolable. The police have sent three bodies for post-mortem. A high speed container truck hit from behind

Everyone was waiting for the crossing to open when a speeding container truck hit their car parked at the rear from behind. Adnan (11 years), Fatima (13 years), Afreen (14 years), Faris Umar (8 years) sitting in the car were seriously injured. All of them were taken to Jagdishpur CHC, where doctors declared Adnan, Fatima, Afreen dead. Arif, Akhtar Khan, Tajia Khan, Lareef Khan, Sajid Khan also suffered minor injuries in the accident.

Jagdishpur police has conducted the postmortem of the deceased. SO Abhinesh Kumar said that three children have died in the road accident and five vehicles have been damaged in the accident. Legal action is being taken.
