The US military on Thursday killed Mohammed Salah al-Jabeir, a senior terrorist of the al-Qaeda-linked terrorist organization. Mohammed Salah al-Jabeir died in an air strike in the northwestern part of Syria.

The US Central Command issued a statement saying that this airstrike was carried out to break the network of terrorists. Jabir was associated with a group called Hurras, Al-Din. This group is an affiliate of Al Qaeda.
