Aligarh Today News: There was a ruckus on the occasion of birthday in Banna Devi police station area of ​​Aligarh. A fight broke out between a group of people eating in a private hotel and another group when they protested against the abusive language being used against them. A youth from the other group along with more than a dozen of his companions attacked the people with sharp knives, illegal weapons and sticks and beat them up. Seeing the fierce fight between the two groups in the hotel, there was a stampede and screaming among the people eating in the hotel.

While four people of one group were badly injured and covered in blood, the goons of the other group fled from the spot after carrying out the fight. After the fight in the hotel, the four injured youths reached the police station in a bloody condition and gave a written complaint to the police to register a case against about 15-20 youths of the other goons group who attacked them. The police immediately got the four youths medically examined in the District Malkhan Singh Hospital and registered a case against the accused who attacked them and started searching for them.

Beaten for refusing to abuse 

According to the information, around 7:00 pm, two groups were eating in a hotel in Nai Basti Chowki area. When the two groups refused to abuse each other, the rowdy youth of the other group called their friends on the spot and attacked the youths who refused to abuse with sharp weapons and sticks and beat them brutally. After the incident of assault in the hotel, Himanshu Chaudhary, son of Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, resident of Chavad Wali Gali of Delhi Gate Police Station area, told about the incident that as it was his birthday, he was eating with about 3 to 4 of his friends. At the same time, three to four rowdy youths sitting on another table of the hotel were abusing each other while consuming alcohol.

Fighting in the hotel 

Then he stopped the people sitting in the hotel and abusing from doing so, after which the abusing youths took offence to this and they left the hotel. It is alleged that after the birthday party, when he was about to leave the hotel after eating and paying the hotel bill, then Shashank Pandit, a resident of Masoodabad Chauraha of Bannadevi area, reached the hotel with about 15 to 20 of his companions and started beating him badly, attacking him with illegal weapons, sharp knives, sticks and kicking and punching him.

During this, the said goons also attacked them with chairs kept in the hotel. They were also hit on the head with knives and butts of illegal guns and pistols, due to which all four friends were badly injured and bleeding. During the fight in the hotel, the victim Himanshu Chaudhary says that 50 thousand rupees kept in his pocket as collection and a gold chain are also missing.

Circle Officer II Mayank Pathak informed that around 7:00 pm, a fight broke out between two people of the same caste in the Nai Basti Chowki area of ​​Kotwali Bannadevi area. The plaintiff was eating with his friends in a hotel, where the defendant was abusing loudly. When the plaintiff refused to abuse, the defendant reached the hotel with his friends after some time and beat up the people of the plaintiff who opposed the abuse. In this attack, four people of the plaintiff were injured. After getting the medical examination of all the injured done and receiving the written complaint, a case has been registered under relevant sections at the police station. Investigation is underway in the case.
