
Haridwar News: A shocking news has come out from Haridwar district jail of Uttarakhand. Where during the health test of the prisoners lodged in the jail, 15 prisoners have been found HIV positive. After which, there has been a stir after finding 15 HIV positive prisoners in the district jail of Haridwar.
A separate barrack has been made for all these prisoners in the district jail, where only HIV positive prisoners are living. Giving information, Senior Jail Superintendent of Haridwar Manoj Kumar Arya said that on April 7, a health camp was organized in the district jail of Haridwar on the occasion of World Health Day. Where all these prisoners lodged in the district jail were tested, in which it came to light that 15 positive HIV prisoners are in the district jail. After which all these HIV positive prisoners have been kept in the same barrack.
Regular treatment of prisoners
Manoj Kumar said that at present, whatever treatment is required is being done as per the rules. He told that after the confirmation in the report, they are being given regular treatment. Along with this, full attention is also being paid to awareness. This will not create any confusion among other prisoners.
There are 1100 prisoners in Haridwar district jail
Along with this, Senior Jail Superintendent Manoj Kumar Arya said that at present there are 1100 prisoners in Haridwar District Jail. Let us tell you that earlier in 2017 also, during medical examination in Haridwar Jail, not one or two but 16 prisoners were found to be HIV positive and affected by AIDS.
