Washington: A woman from Milwaukee, America was sentenced to 11 years in prison on Monday. The woman had shot a man in 2018. The woman argued in court that she was legally allowed to commit murder because the man who lost his life had sexually abused her.

According to CNN's report, the Kenosha County Court has given this sentence. According to Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Gravely, the woman will also get parole for five years.

The man was shot in the head

According to prosecutors in Kenosha County Court, convicted woman Kizer shot 34-year-old Randall Voller in the head at his home in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2018. Kizer was just 17 years old at the time.

The house was burnt and the car was also stolen.

According to the Associated Press, Kizer shot the man in the head. Later, he burned his house and also stole his BMW car. Kizer faces charges of murder, arson and car theft. Kizer says that Voler trafficked him when he was 16 years old.

Kizer must prove it

In 2022, the Wisconsin Supreme Court issued an important ruling that exempted trafficking victims from liability for crimes committed as a direct result of trafficking, including murder. Now Kizer will have to prove that trafficking was the reason for Voller's murder.
