News Topical, Digital Desk : Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati said on Saturday that in Sanatan Dharma, a Shankaracharya is considered someone who works for the religion. "Anyone who supports him (Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ) is a Shankaracharya. Anyone who talks about Sanatan Dharma is not a Shankaracharya at all. The definition he (Adityanath) has created has never existed before," Swami Avimukteshwarananda told reporters in Varanasi.

According to the report published in BBC, Shankaracharya, while accusing CM Yogi, said that when Yogi Adityanath became the CM, there were 40 cases against him and as soon as he became the CM, he got all the cases withdrawn.
