Kolkata: In the case of rape and murder of a female trainee doctor of Kolkata, CBI is considering conducting a polygraph test of Dr. Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Hospital. CBI says that Dr. Ghosh is giving wrong information. There are many inconsistencies in his statement. That is why a polygraph test is necessary.

Permission granted by court for polygraph test

According to sources, the central agency can apply for this in the court. Polygraph is a machine that detects lies. Let us tell you that the central investigation agency has got permission from Sealdah court to conduct polygraph test of the civic volunteer who has already been arrested. The central agency interrogated Dr. Ghosh on Tuesday as well. He was interrogated for about 50 hours in four days.

File a written complaint with the police

On the other hand, a police case has been registered against Dr. Sandeep Ghosh for revealing the name of the victim. According to police sources, Sandeep came to know about the incident from a doctor of the hospital at around 10:15 am on August 9. About five hours later, at around 3 pm, he lodged a written complaint with the police.

The victim was publicly named

Allegedly, after this, Sandeep publicly named the victim. Investigators also claim that even after questioning senior and junior doctors, nurses and security personnel who were on duty that night, some contradictory information is emerging. Investigators feel that it is also important to collect mobile phone records of junior and senior doctors along with other official nurses and security guards.

Formation of task force

The Supreme Court today constituted a national task force in the rape-murder case at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. On this, West Bengal LOP Suvendu Adhikari said that I welcome this move of the Supreme Court.

Revolutionary decision of the Supreme Court

On the Supreme Court taking suo motu cognizance, Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that it is a very positive step that the Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident. I hope that the Supreme Court will take a revolutionary decision. We should ensure the safety of women in West Bengal and the country. The people of Bengal hope that justice will be delivered.
