Rudraprayag. Kedarnath Dham Yatra: After the heavy rain last night, disaster-like conditions have once again arisen in Rudraprayag. Here, the workers got caught in the flood of Khat Gadera near Phata. Four people have died in the accident.
The search operation was started by SDRF on Thursday night itself. All the bodies have been removed from the debris.
District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar has informed that on Thursday night at 1:20, information was received about four people being buried under debris near Khat Gadera near Fata helipad due to heavy rains.
As soon as the information was received, a rescue team was sent to the site for relief and rescue work and the bodies of all four were removed from the debris. All four workers are natives of Nepal.
Their bodies are being brought to Rudraprayag District Hospital by the DDRF team. The rescue team comprised SDRF Police and DDRF personnel.
