Especially in the high altitude areas of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts, there are chances of cloud cover and light showers.

However, the weather will remain dry in other parts of the state. The effect of sunlight and heat will be strong from the plains to the lower mountain areas. Meteorologists say that there is no hope of relief from the heat for the next few days. There is a possibility of continuous increase in temperature, due to which people may have to face strong sunlight and hot winds.

. The Meteorological Center informed that the weather will remain mostly dry in the entire state till April 25. There may be partial cloud cover in the mountains at times, but there is no possibility of widespread rain. At the same time, heat wave-like conditions can also occur in the plains, which can affect the life of the people.

Doctors have advised citizens to be cautious in view of this weather. They have been especially advised to avoid going out in the scorching sun during the afternoon and to drink enough water. Children studying in schools, the elderly and sick people have been advised to be especially cautious.
