CM Yogi’s Bold Warning in Lucknow: "Those Who Steal Farmers’ Motors Will Regret It"

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp critique against past state administrations during an appointment letter distribution program for the Agriculture Department and Mandi Parishad held in Lucknow. Highlighting the transformation of the state's law and order and agricultural landscape, the Chief Minister remarked on the security improvements for farmers across the state.

Law and Order Shift in Rural Uttar Pradesh

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recalled the conditions prior to 2017, stating that the state was previously hampered by governance challenges, safety concerns, and widespread migration. Highlighting the protection of farming communities today, he emphasized that agricultural equipment and electric motors left in fields remain secure because criminal elements are fully aware of the strict consequences enforced by the current administration.

One Lakh Government Jobs in Six Months

During the event held at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to newly selected candidates, including 3,446 technical assistants in the Agriculture Department and 126 Mandi Secretaries in the Mandi Parishad. Building on the milestone of providing over 9.30 lakh transparent government jobs over the past nine years, he announced that the state government will issue appointment letters to another one lakh youth over the next six months through structured weekly events.

Streamlining Recruitment and Autonomy for Boards

The Chief Minister directed state recruitment commissions and boards to optimize their operational timelines. Emphasizing that the government maintains a policy of non-interference to grant full functional autonomy, he instructed officials to complete recruitment cycles within six months from the date a requisition is received—ensuring advertisements are published within a month and examinations are conducted promptly.

Robust Sugar Production and Agricultural Strength

Highlighting the state's agricultural self-sufficiency, Yogi Adityanath noted that Uttar Pradesh maintains a robust sugar surplus, with 28 million tonnes available against a monthly consumption of four million tonnes, ensuring sufficient reserves and strong momentum for upcoming crushing seasons. State dignitaries, including Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi and Minister of State Baldev Singh Aulakh, were also present to encourage the newly appointed recruits.
