CM Yogi Slams SP, BSP, and Congress at ₹994 Crore Gorakhpur Event

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a major development push to Gorakhpur by inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for 14 development projects collectively valued at over ₹994 crore. Addressing a large public gathering, the Chief Minister officially dedicated four completed infrastructure projects worth ₹813.52 crore, headlined by the 2.6-kilometer-long six-lane flyover along the TP Nagar-Padleganj road, while laying the foundation stones for 10 upcoming public initiatives worth ₹181.77 crore. Highlighting the state government's performance, CM Yogi pointed out that these strategic infrastructure investments are turning Gorakhpur into a thriving hub for regional trade, tourism, and modern urban transit.

Scathing Attack on Past Regimes Over Employment and Industrial Stagnation

During his speech, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp political attack against the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, and Congress, holding them responsible for past economic decay and unemployment. He highlighted that between 2007 and 2017, previous administrations oversaw the closure of 29 sugar mills across Uttar Pradesh, depriving farmers and rural workers of their livelihoods. Expressing strong words against former regimes, CM Yogi stated that past governments committed the sin of leaving the state’s youth unemployed through corrupt recruitment practices, contrasting that period with his administration's transparent recruitment drive that has delivered 900,000 government jobs alongside millions of private opportunities.

Reclaiming Heritage and Transforming Gorakhpur's Safety and Tourism

Emphasizing the contrast in law and order, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath noted that prior to 2017, Uttar Pradesh suffered from frequent riots and lawlessness that disrupted major cultural festivals and scared away investors. He criticized opposition parties on matters of faith, recalling past opposition to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement. The Chief Minister pointed out that Gorakhpur, once plagued by mafia influence and the scourge of encephalitis, has undergone a complete renaissance. With enhanced safety driving investment, revived industrial hubs, and Ramgarhtal emerging as a vibrant center for tourism and film production, local leaders like MP Ravi Kishan praised the region's total economic and social revival.
