News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he would know in two weeks whether progress is possible in his effort to end Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He again raised the possibility of imposing sanctions on Russia.

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump said he was not happy with any aspect of the peace efforts. Just a week ago, Trump held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. He has not yet been able to get him to agree to a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

What action will Trump take?

Trump said, "They have a lot of hatred. But let's see what happens. I think in two weeks we will know which way I am going to go." The US President said that he will decide then whether to impose big sanctions or do nothing and tell them that it is your fight.
