News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump has again threatened Iran, saying the ceasefire cannot be extended any further and that military action could be taken if the deal fails.

Trump has said the ceasefire with Iran will not be extended unless a long-term agreement is reached by Wednesday. He warned that pressure measures remain on the table, including a continued blockade of Iranian ports and the possibility of renewed bombing.

"We'll have to drop the bombs again."

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said, "I may not extend it, but the blockade will continue. So you have a blockade and unfortunately we're going to have to start bombing again."

Iran also warned Trump

Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned Donald Trump that Tehran will close the Strait of Hormuz if the US continues its naval blockade.

The warning comes shortly after the US president said the blockade would continue "in full force." Iran had earlier said the Strait of Hormuz was "fully open" to all commercial vessels for the remainder of the ceasefire.
