Meanwhile, civil defense mock drill will be conducted tomorrow i.e. on Thursday in the states bordering Pakistan. According to the information, preparations are being made to conduct a large-scale mock drill in Haryana, Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Gujarat on Thursday. According to the latest information, there will be no mock drill in Punjab tomorrow. Mock drill will be held in Punjab on June 3 from 7.30 pm. This information was given by Director Civil Defense Sanjeev Kalra.
This information will be given to the people
During the mock drill, people will be taught how to survive during a war. Along with this, information will be given about the sirens that sound during blackouts and attacks. People will be instructed to stay alert. People will also be told how to avoid rumours. How to stay alert from the propaganda of the enemy country.
Blackout at 8 p.m.
Residents of these states will be instructed to remain alert during a war-like situation. A controlled blackout of 15 minutes will also be imposed from 8 pm near important areas except for essential emergency services like hospitals, fire stations and police stations.
In fact, a lot of aggression has been seen from across the border in recent times. Earlier mock drills had explained how to take shelter, how to protect oneself during air strikes and how to help others in a crisis situation. Similar protocols are expected to be followed in Thursday's exercise as well.
Mock drill in all districts of Haryana from 5 pm
The Haryana government is also going to conduct a major statewide civil defence exercise called “Operation Shield” in all 22 districts from 5 pm on May 29 to enhance the state's emergency preparedness. The Haryana government has announced that the mock drill to be held tomorrow aims to test emergency mechanisms, improve coordination between the civil administration, defence forces and local communities.
