News Topical, Digital Desk : Ganesh festival has started from 27th August, which will be celebrated till Anant Chaturdashi i.e. 6th September. According to mythological tales, once Lord Krishna (Krishna false accusation) also accidentally saw the moon on Chaturthi. Due to which he had to face false accusation of theft. In such a situation, let us know this story related to Lord Krishna.
Syamantaka Mani was very amazing
According to the story, a person named Satrajit Yadav lived in Lord Krishna's city Dwarka. He worshipped Surya Narayana, and being pleased with him, the Sun God gave him the Syamantaka Mani as a boon.
The specialty of this gem was that it used to give eight weights of gold daily. When Lord Krishna came to know about this, he jokingly told that person to give this gem to him. Later, Satrajit gave that gem to his brother. One day when his brother went hunting, a lion killed him there.
This is how the gem reached Jamwant ji
Later, the king of bears, Jamwant Ji, killed that lion and got the gem from him. When Satrajit's brother did not return from hunting for many days, he started worrying. He thought that Lord Krishna had killed his brother to get the gem. Slowly, this rumour spread throughout the city.
Then this fake Lord Krishna (Krishna Legends) went out to find his brother. During this time Krishna ji came to know that the mani was with Jamwant ji. When he went to take the mani, he found that Jamwant ji's daughter was playing with this mani.
This is how we got freedom from false accusation
To get the Syamantaka Mani (Syamantaka Mani legend), there was a war between Lord Krishna and Jamwant ji, which lasted for about 21 days. When Jamwant could not defeat Lord Krishna, he came to know that he is not an ordinary person, but an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
Jamvant then proposed to marry his daughter to Lord Krishna and returned the gem to him. Thus Lord Krishna was freed from the false accusation of stealing the gem.
