In the 47th verse of the second chapter of the holy book, the Gita, Lord Krishna tells his disciple Arjuna, "O Kaunteya! You are destined to perform your duties; therefore, you must simply perform your duties. Always perform your duties without worrying about the results. You will surely receive the rewards commensurate with your efforts. For this, the individual must remain active in his life."
Krodhaadbhavati समोहाः समोहातस्मृतिविभ्रमः।
Smritibhramshadbuddhinasho buddhinashatpranashyati॥
Lord Krishna says in the 63rd verse of the third chapter of the Gita that one should avoid anger. Anger hinders one's ability to make correct decisions. Memory also weakens. Therefore, one should avoid anger in difficult situations. Anger wastes one's time and money.
यद्यादाचरती श्रेष्टस्तत्तदेवेतरो जनाः.
S yatpramanam kurute lokstadanuvartate॥
In the 23rd verse of the second chapter of the Gita, Lord Krishna tells the archer Arjuna, "O Partha! People emulate the actions of a noble person. Therefore, one should perform good deeds in every situation. This sets an example."
