At the trailer launch of Anupam Kher's directorial film 'Tanvi The Great' in Mumbai on Monday, Anupam said that he had to call Kajol only once and she said yes to support the film.
Why did you call Kajol?
When the anchor asked why did you call Kajol? Kajol said because she looks the best. Anupam replied that yes she looks good but she is a relevant person and performer as per today's times.
Would Kajol play Tanvi's role?
Anupam Kher further said, "I knew she would say yes. If I had made the film 'Tanvi the Great' a few years ago, I would have cast Kajol in the role of Tanvi. Anupam has given a chance to debutant actress Shubhangi Dutt with this film. The world premiere of the film will be held at the Cannes Film Festival."
