These devotees claim that when the call for Jammu bandh was given, they were in the train and as soon as they reached Jammu, they are not getting any means to reach Katra. Due to the closure of the bus service from Jammu to Katra, these people are facing difficulty in reaching Katra.

Some devotees also alleged that the few taxis that are ready to go to Katra are charging arbitrary prices which is beyond their budget. These devotees also include elderly people who have reached Jammu railway station in the scorching heat but are facing inconvenience due to non-availability of any means to go to Katra.

To make the Jammu bandh successful, people were seen on the streets of Jammu since morning who came out on the streets to express their anger against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
