historical decision

During his address in Oman, PM Modi said, "Today we are taking a historic decision, the reverberations of which will resonate for decades to come. The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement will give our partnership new confidence and energy in the 21st century. It is the blueprint for our shared future. It will give new momentum to our trade, new confidence to investment, and open new doors of opportunity in every sector."

We are the inheritors of that legacy...

Today, businesses from India and Oman represent our trade. You are heirs to a legacy that has a rich history spanning centuries. Our ancestors engaged in maritime trade with each other since the dawn of civilization. It's
often said that two shores of the ocean are far apart, but the Arabian Sea forms a strong bridge between Mandvi and Muscat. A bridge that has strengthened our ties, bolstering our culture and economy. Today, we can confidently say that the waves of the sea change, the seasons change, but the friendship between India and Oman grows stronger with every season.
