What did the petitioners say in the court?
According to the report of News 18, on Monday, a bench of Justice PK Mishra and Justice Manmohan heard the petition of Karnataka Theatre Association. The lawyer of the petitioners argued in the court that anti-social elements have threatened to set fire to the theatres. The lawyer stressed that if the film is released in theatres, there is a clear risk of fire. In response, the judge rejected the petition and said, if you are afraid that the theatre will catch fire, then keep all the fire extinguishing equipment ready. He advised the petitioners to approach the High Court in the matter. In response, the lawyer argued that he did not get any relief from there. After this, the court agreed to hear the case on Friday.
