When is Shani Jayanti celebrated?
Shani Jayanti is celebrated every year on the Amavasya date of Jyeshtha month. It is contained in the Sanatan scriptures that Shanidev, the son of Sun God, was born on the Amavasya date of Jyeshtha month. For this, Shani Jayanti is celebrated every year on the day of Jyeshtha Amavasya. On this auspicious occasion, special worship of Shanidev is done in temples. This year Shani Jayanti will be celebrated on 27 May.

According to the Vedic calendar, the new moon date of Jyeshtha month will start on May 26 at 12:11 pm. At the same time, the new moon date of Jyeshtha month will end on May 27 at 08:31 am.
Shani Jayanti auspicious yoga (Shani Jayanti Shubh Yoga)
Sukarma Yoga is till 10:54 pm on Jyeshtha Amavasya Tithi. Along with this, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga is also being formed.
