News Topical, Digital Desk : The month of Shravan is that divine moment when the speed of time slows down and the soul starts becoming Shivatva. It is not just a month of the calendar, but it is the period of the silent call of the universe, in which the entire creation gets immersed in the sound of 'Shivoham'. Shravan is the time when the creation wants to forget itself and return to the Creator.

This is not a season, it is the experience of the sages. While Shiva's form is beyond the Creator, Shravan is a journey in that direction where a person can go beyond himself and merge in Shiva. Shiva is not a form, it is an experience, resonating in silence, manifesting in meditation. Shravan is that great time context in which the seeker surrenders his entire existence at the feet of Shiva.

dedication of life

Every Monday of Shravan is not a date, it is the pinnacle of sadhana. On that day, when Gangajal falls on the Shivling, it is not just water, it is the dedication of life. It is the expression of that consciousness which has come to know that nothing is different from Brahma. Shiva is not a separate entity, not two, but two forms of the same sadhana. Shravan is that mirror in which the soul can see itself in the form of Shiva. It is the name of that divinity lying dormant within the soul, which can be awakened only by faith, penance and dedication.

Shravan is the time of that awakening. In Shravan, not only abhishek takes place, but the inner impurities are also washed away. This is the moment when the veil of 'I' is removed and only 'Shiva' remains.
