President Putin is visiting New Delhi to mark the 25th anniversary of the India-Russia strategic partnership. During this visit, he will participate in the 23rd bilateral summit. Putin will remain under special security cover in India. His visit is taking place on December 4th and 5th.

Ahead of Russian President Putin's visit to India, Russian diplomat Ushakov said PM Modi and Putin will discuss in detail the growing trade and economic partnership, including a 12 percent increase in bilateral trade to USD 63.6 billion by 2024.

It is noteworthy that on Friday, PM Modi will address the India-Russia Business Forum at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. Investment opportunities, production partnerships, and technological cooperation will be discussed here. Defense cooperation between the two countries will also be a key focus. The leaders of both countries will also share their views on major international issues, including cooperation in the UN, SCO, G20, and BRICS.
