The Trayodashi date of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month is starting on 5th September at 4:08 am. At the same time, this date is going to end on 6th September at 3:12 am. In such a situation, Pradosh Vrat will be observed on Friday, 5th September. Due to falling on Friday, it will also be called Shukra Pradosh Vrat (Shukra Pradosh Vrat 2025).

Method of worship of Lord Shiva
- On the day of Shukra Pradosh Vrat, wake up early in the morning, take a vow to fast and have a bath etc.
- After cleaning the temple, sprinkle Ganga water.
- Spread a clean red cloth on a stool and install the idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
- Anoint Lord Shiva with raw milk, Ganga water, and pure water.
- Now offer Belpatra, Dhatura and Bhaang etc. to Mahadev in the puja.
- Offer kheer, fruits, halwa etc. as prasad.
- Offer 16 makeup items to Mother Parvati.
- Recite Shiv Chalisa.
- Light a lamp and chant the aarti and mantras of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
- At the end distribute Prasad among all the people.
