After Zainab and her husband protested, Judge Afzal Majoka concluded the trial and sentenced both of them to 17 years in prison.
The court's decision said Mazari had made several tweets over the past few years that reflected the agenda of the banned Baloch separatist group and the Pakistani Taliban.
The case relates to a complaint filed with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency in August 2025, alleging that the couple used social media to defame the state and its security institutions.
