On the special occasion of Dharmendra's birth anniversary, Sunil shared a recent video on his official Instagram handle. In the video, he recounts his meeting with Dharmendra, saying: 

"Today is the birthday of the greatest actor of Indian cinema, respected Dharmendra Singh Deol. My heartfelt tribute to him. On this special occasion, I am going to mention my short meeting with him when I bought an apartment from him in Mumbai.

Discussions about this apartment took place with Sunny Deol and the final deal was reached with Dharamji. Later, Prakash Kaur Auntyji signed the property. Dharamji asked me who would live in the house, and I said I would live there myself. He didn't know about me, but when I introduced myself to him about Ramayan, he immediately hugged me and gave me his blessings. His entire family is very cultured and down-to-earth.
