Let us tell you that this time the monsoon weakened in the middle after becoming active in Himachal. However, the maximum rainfall occurred in August. Kuldeep Srivastava, Director of Meteorological Center Shimla, says that the monsoon normally used to return from the state by 24 September, but it does not seem so now. Even now, there is a possibility of rain in some parts of Rajasthan under the monsoon, due to which it may take some time for the monsoon to leave the state.
According to the Meteorological Center, the weather will be clear again after September 27. Earlier in 2019, monsoon rains had completely stopped on October 11. At present, there are no signs of monsoon leaving till October 6. Even though the monsoon period is getting longer this year, the rainfall in the state has been 20 percent less than normal.

Monsoon is causing trouble for the early crops
The withdrawal of monsoon has started from the western part of the country. This time due to the late returning monsoon with 6% more rain than normal, the late crops in Bihar, Jharkhand and eastern Uttar Pradesh will benefit but the early crops which are ready to be harvested in a large part of North India have started getting damaged. The paddy crop is ready in Punjab, Haryana and western Uttar Pradesh. Standing crops in the fields may fall due to excessive rain. Excessive moisture than the standard may cause problems in selling in the markets. Due to excessive wetness in the fields, sowing of pulses and oilseeds crops will also get delayed.
