Bern (Switzerland): IC814 cabin crew chief Anil Sharma has also raised his objection to the Netflix series 'The Kandahar Hijack'. The chief pilot of the hijacked plane, Anil Sharma, raised the question that why were the names of two of the hijackers named after Hindu Gods? There must have been some mischief on their part. He has also objected to his name being changed in the series and the rest of the crew not being shown.

The filmmakers did not give these names on their own

Anil Sharma told in an interview about the Netflix series that the code names of the terrorists were the same from the beginning. The filmmakers have not given these names on their own. But it is a matter of thought that why did these terrorists use the names of Hindu gods? No one thought about this in the last 24 years. There was some mischief in their mind due to which this was done.

Sharma also expressed dissatisfaction over why his name, the names of his two pilots, flight engineers and two air hostesses were changed in the series. He also objected to why the other five members of the flight crew were not shown in the series.

The real names of the terrorists will be given

He also criticized Netflix for not correcting the mistake in the names of the terrorists earlier. It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, Netflix India's content head Monica Shergill had assured the government that the legal message before the series would be amended to give the real names of the terrorists along with their code names.
