The official was seriously injured in the assault and has been hospitalized in critical condition. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Hindu organizations have expressed outrage over the incident and demanded strict action.
At the time of the incident, Vansh Chaudhary had come to the market, where the masked accused surrounded him and beat him. The incident caused panic in the entire area. CCTV footage showing the masked accused has also gone viral. A complaint has been filed against four named individuals.
What is the whole matter?
According to reports, the incident occurred on February 6th. Vansh Chaudhary, the divisional president of the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, had gone to Harthala Market in the Civil Lines police station area for some work. At that very moment, more than half a dozen people, who were lying in wait, launched a deadly attack on him, leaving him seriously injured. Vansh Chaudhary alleges that some time ago, he had chased a vehicle carrying cattle and attempted to apprehend it, and at that very moment, he had identified the cattle smugglers.
Being alone, he couldn't catch the vehicle, but from that day on, these alleged cattle smugglers began tracking him. On February 6th, more than half a dozen alleged cattle smugglers, all wearing masks, arrived at Harthala Market and launched a deadly attack on him. He suffered serious injuries to his head and waist.
Complaint against named accused
The incident was reported to the Civil Lines police station, and after identifying the accused, a case of attempted murder has been filed against Shabez Ali, Hasnain, and Jackie Salman. The victim, Vansh Chaudhary, suffered a serious head injury and received more than half a dozen stitches. Admitted to the district hospital, Vansh Chaudhary has appealed to the police to take strict action against all cow smugglers.
