This day is considered auspicious for the worship of Lord Vishnu and fasting, as it was on this day that Lord Krishna preached the Gita to Arjuna. Offer water and raw milk
On the morning of Mokshada Ekadashi, after bathing, offer water or raw cow's milk to the Tulsi plant. Then, circumambulate the Tulsi plant seven times and chant the mantra "Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya." It is believed that this practice alleviates financial hardship and brings prosperity to life.
Chanting mantras with Tulsi beads
To receive Lord Vishnu's special blessings, chant his names or mantras with a Tulsi garland on Mokshada Ekadashi. Doing so relieves you of all the sorrows and troubles in life, and brings good fortune.
basil leaves in kheer
To please Lord Vishnu, offer him saffron pudding on this day. Remember to include basil leaves in the offering, as worshipping Lord Vishnu is considered incomplete without basil leaves. It is said that following this ritual brings Lord Vishnu's blessings and fulfills your desires.
Ghee lamp and circumambulation
On this day, after sunset, light a ghee lamp near the Tulsi plant. You can also circumambulate the Tulsi plant 11 times. It is believed that devotees who worship Tulsi on Ekadashi are freed from all their sins and attain salvation.
