After an accident, an injured young man lay writhing in pain on the road, but no one came to his aid. Ultimately, he died due to a delay in reaching the hospital. This incident occurred on Mahoba Road in the Charkhari police station area.
In fact, Dharmendra Singh, a resident of Kalyan Nagar locality in the city, had 21-year-old Akshatra Pratap Singh, son of Naikanapura resident Dharmendra Singh, who had gone to visit the Cocoon Temple on his scooter with his friend Anivesh Tiwari. While returning after the visit, their scooter went out of control and crashed on Mahoba Road. Akshatra was seriously injured in the accident and lay bleeding on the road, writhing in pain.

During this time, his companion, Anivesh Tiwari, repeatedly tried to stop passing vehicles, but no one cared to help. This indifference from passersby cost the injured man his life. After a considerable delay, a passing four-wheeler driver, demonstrating his humanity, took him to the Charkhari Community Health Center, where, given his critical condition, doctors referred him to the district hospital.

The deceased's grandfather, Ranvijay Singh, stated that after first aid at the district hospital, doctors referred Akshat to a higher medical center in Kanpur, but he died on the way. The family says that if someone had helped in time, Akshat's life could have been saved.
The police have taken custody of the body, prepared a Panchnama, and sent it for post-mortem. The deceased's friend, Anivesh, suffered minor injuries. The death of 21-year-old Akshat has caused a great deal of grief within the family. The family is inconsolable.
