News Topical, Digital Desk : India Pakistan Ceasefire News: Ceasefire was implemented in both India and Pakistan from 5 pm on Saturday (May 10). However, just four hours after this, the ceasefire was violated by Pakistan. Now Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has given a statement on this. 

CM Omar Abdullah said, "What happened to the ceasefire? Sounds of explosions were heard in Srinagar. This is not a ceasefire. The air defense unit has just started firing in central Srinagar."

According to sources , ceasefire was violated
in Udhampur, Akhnoor, Nowshera, Poonch Rajouri, Mendhar, Jammu, RS Pura sector, Sunderbani, Arnia and Kathua of Jammu Kashmir. Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Police has confirmed that several explosions have taken place in Srinagar, Kashmir.

BSF is responding
Let us tell you that BSF is responding to Pakistan's cross border firing in Jammu, RS Pura sector on the international border. Firing incidents have also been reported in Akhnoor sector of LoC. The army is busy collecting information about this from local formations.

In view of these circumstances, a complete blackout has been imposed in Srinagar. Along with this, a blackout has also been imposed in Kargil. According to the information, the sound of explosions was heard at 8.50. After this, firing started, later drones were seen in the air.

What did CM Abdullah say on ceasefire?
Earlier, CM Omar Abdullah had said about ceasefire, "Just a while ago, ceasefire was announced again and I welcome it from the bottom of my heart. Finally, Pakistan's DGMO picked up the phone and talked to our DGMO. Better late than never. Wherever people are injured, they should be treated properly. Wherever people have lost their lives, compensate them."
