Shiny Doshi, who gained recognition from serials like Pandya Store and Saraswatichandra, has told heartbreaking things about her father's behavior and the problems of her family. Many types of problems in childhood

Shiney told Siddharth Kannan's podcast that his father taunted him and his mother a lot. When Shiney was 16 years old, she used to do print shoots till late night in Ahmedabad. His mother was always with him, but on returning home, his father used to call him many abusive words. Shiney said crying, "He used to ask where does mother take me at 3 in the night, what business does she make me do?" This language of his father used to hurt him a lot

 

Domestic violence has always been

Shiney also revealed that his father used to beat his mother. He and his brother would hide in the room out of fear. Shiney pleaded with his father many times to stop beating his mother, but the situation would improve only for a few days. His parents' relationship was strained 90% of the time. Shiney's mother also did not have the freedom to work, as divorce was considered wrong at that time.

Financial difficulties and burden of responsibility

Shiney's father left the family when she was very young. After this, she had to take up the responsibility of running the house at an early age. She says, "I had to take care of the family like a son." When she came to Mumbai in 2012, she had only Rs 15,000. She supported the family through modeling and advertisements. Her mother always supported her, but Shiney also had to face taunts from relatives who considered her acting wrong.

 

Saraswatichandra was a turning point in Shiny's life. After this show, the thinking of relatives changed. Her father passed away in 2019, but by then she had not met him for two years. Shiny says that this pain is still with her, but she is moving forward considering it as a lesson of life.
