Addressing a massive gathering in Ghazipur—a region renowned for its glorious tradition of national defense and patriotism—CM Yogi Adityanath contrasted the progressive governance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with the alleged misrule of past regimes. He accused both the Samajwadi Party and the Congress of inflicting severe damage on the state's historical identity and future prospects. Emphasizing that the current double-engine government actively honors true national heroes and accelerates inclusive growth, the Chief Minister claimed that opposition parties have consistently prioritized corrupt elements over public welfare.

'Daughters Were Terrified Under SP Rule, Now Mafia Rule Has Been Wiped Out'

Targeting the law-and-order track record of previous administrations, CM Yogi did not mince words while describing the plight of citizens under past governments. He stated that the Samajwadi Party has historically functioned in an anti-poor, anti-farmer, anti-youth, and anti-women manner, where lawless elements and criminal syndicates operated under direct political patronage. Recalling how ordinary citizens, businessmen, and young daughters lived in constant fear when criminal syndicates sucked the blood of society, the Chief Minister declared that his government made a firm resolve to eradicate organized crime, completely wiping out the mafia ecosystem from Uttar Pradesh.
