The Ministry of Civil Aviation has given information by tweeting, which says, all passengers are informed that due to security rules, carrying some household items in cabin baggage is now prohibited. These restrictions fall under a broad classification system that divides items into eight categories, such as weapons and replicas, explosives, dangerous substances, dangerous articles, tools, electronic items, some household items and sports goods.
This advice refers specifically to the household goods category. Passengers are advised to carefully review the detailed baggage guidelines, which indicate what you are allowed and what you are not allowed to carry under each category. For example, you can no longer carry chilli pickle, coconut, coconut powder, any kind of rope, cello tape, croquettes, etc.
According to the Civil Aviation Ministry, you can now carry whole coconut, coconut powder, cigar cutter, ice breaker, air mattress with pump, crowbars, corkscrew, scissors, night-stick, rope, adhesive or measuring tape, razor, umbrella and knitting needle in cabin baggage. These banned items are generally used in household. That is why you should check your cabin baggage. If any such item is found during checking, you may get into trouble.
