For the last one and a half years, MLA Ashish Sharma is being repeatedly called for questioning in the Vigilance police station.
MLA Ashish Sharma, who reached the Vigilance Thana Police Line Hamirpur on Thursday (11 September) afternoon, said, "The Congress government has not been able to digest the defeat in the Rajya Sabha elections and has been harassing people by making false cases for the last 18 months." He said that their families are being harassed repeatedly by doing politics of pressure. The government thinks that by doing this, someone will get scared, but this is not going to happen.
'Congress is doing low level politics'
MLA Ashish further said, "The Congress government has stooped to low level politics. False cases are being filed for raising the voice of the people and exposing corruption." He said that times keep changing and governments come and go but the Congress has stooped to petty politics.
On the announcement of PM Modi to give relief amount of 1500 crores to Himachal, Ashish Sharma said that this is a very good thing. He said that the Congress government should use the money given by the central government for the disaster in the right manner so that the stalled development can gain momentum and the victims can get relief.
What are the allegations against the MLA?
Let us tell you that the MLA is accused of tampering with the company's registration documents and due to this, MLA Ashish Sharma is being repeatedly called for questioning in the Vigilance police station for the last one and a half years. In this case of Ashish Sharma, it is alleged that contractor Praveen Kumar Sharma got the contractor's category changed from B to A on the basis of false and misleading work done certificate of M/s Jhandu Construction Company from PWD. In this case, Vigilance is continuously calling MLA Ashish Sharma to the police station and questioning him.
