News Topical, Digital Desk : Many areas of Delhi-NCR received heavy rain on Monday morning. During this time, people got relief from the humidity that was continuing for the past several days. At the same time, a drop in the temperature of Delhi-NCR has also been recorded. In fact, Delhi-NCR has been cloudy since late night and there is heavy lightning in many areas. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Delhi including Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. Apart from Delhi-NCR, rain alert has also been issued in many other states including UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan.

Alert in UP-Bihar

There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in UP today and tomorrow i.e. on 7th and 8th July. IMD has also expressed the possibility of lightning along with heavy rain in some areas. Along with this, people have been appealed to stay indoors. Apart from this, if we talk about Bihar, an alert has been issued regarding lightning in many districts here. An alert has been issued regarding lightning in Bihar's Bhagalpur, Banka, Munger, Patna, Buxar, Bhojpur, Rohtas etc. districts. At the same time, the water level of many rivers of the state has also started rising. 

Heavy rain in four districts of Uttarakhand

An orange alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in the mountainous areas of Uttarakhand today. In such a situation, an alert has been issued regarding landslides. People have been warned to remain alert. It is raining continuously in many districts of Uttarakhand. It rained in Rudraprayag on Monday morning. At the same time, roads are blocked at many places due to rain. IMD has issued an orange alert for heavy rain for four districts including Dehradun. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in other districts as well. 

Monsoon wreaked havoc in Himachal

Talking about Himachal Pradesh, monsoon has wreaked havoc here. Cases of landslides have been reported from many areas of Himachal Pradesh. Apart from this, cloudburst also occurred recently, which caused a lot of damage. Public facilities are still disrupted in Himachal Pradesh due to the increasing number of deaths due to monsoon. According to the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority, 78 people have died in Himachal Pradesh so far. Out of these, 50 deaths are related to rain.

Rain alert in many districts of MP 

On the other hand, rain has caused havoc in the districts of MP. Rain havoc is being seen in many districts including Balaghat, Jabalpur, Seoni, Mandla. The Meteorological Department has informed that there will be rain in this area in the coming days. Apart from this, there is a possibility of torrential rain with thunder and lightning in Rajgarh, Dewas, Vidisha, Sehore, Harda, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Betul, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, Dindori and Anuppur. Due to heavy rain, many rivers of MP are in spate.
