More than 125 US aircraft took part in the mission, including B-2 stealth bombers.

How did the US Army execute Operation Midnight Hammer? On Saturday, June 21, at Zero One Hour, B-2 bombers took off from the Whiteman Airbase in the US. When the bombers took off, they were fueled. This balanced the weight of the bomb. Arrangements were made to refuel the B-2 bombers in the air. After this, CENTCOM support joined the B-2 bombers at 5 pm on June 21. At 6 pm, the B-2 bombers and support entered Iran. The attack was carried out from 6:40 pm to 7 pm. 

B-2 bombers were refueled in the air

After this, at 7:30 pm, all the US aircraft including the B-2 bombers left the Iranian airspace. During the return also, the B-2 bombers were refueled in the air. The B-2 bombers completed the mission and reached their airbase on 22 June.
