FIIs liked these sectors in June
According to the data of National Securities Depository (NSDL), FIIs have changed their strategy during the second half of June i.e. June 16 - 30. They bought heavily in sectors like auto, telecom, and IT during this period. However, during this period, selling continued in power, FMCG and consumer durables. After selling Rs 296 crore in the auto sector in the first week of June, FIIs invested Rs 5,020 crore between June 16 and 30. In the telecom sector too, after selling Rs 887 crore in the first week, an investment of Rs 3,620 crore was made in the second week.
