Eye drops were turned into 'poison'... A man in America made such a plan to kill his wife that everyone was stunned

News Topical, Digital Desk : A man in America killed his wife by poisoning her. When the case was being heard in the court, he was standing with his head bowed down. The jury was also shocked to hear the method he used to get his wife out of the way.

The case is from Colorado, USA. Here a former dentist James Craig has been sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for the murder of his wife Angela Craig. James Craig was having an affair with his colleague.

James had affairs with many women

The case is a few years old. 47-year-old James Craig wanted to get rid of his wife Angela. During his 23-year marriage, he had affairs with many women and finally he decided to get rid of his wife. After this, he started mixing poison in his wife's protein shake every day.

But even this did not succeed in his plan. Angela was admitted to the hospital. After this, James Craig played his last bet. He ordered potassium cyanide online. After this, he entered the cabin of his wife admitted in the hospital and gave her an injection of cyanide. Angela was declared brain dead and she died in March 2023.

Death by cyanide and tetrahydrozoline

Toxicology reports revealed that Angela died of tetrahydrozoline in addition to cyanide. Tetrahydrozoline is a chemical found in eye drops. Prosecutors said James Craig did not want to lose his reputation and wealth by divorcing Angela. So he planned to kill his wife.

James Craig did not enter any defense argument during the two-week trial. Although his legal team tried to call the case a suicide, the jury rejected it outright. Arapahoe County District Judge Shay Whitaker sentenced him to life imprisonment plus an additional 33 years.
