New Delhi:  Ever since TV actress Daljeet Kaur got married for the second time, the actress has been in constant discussion. The actress separated from NRI businessman Nikhil Patel within just 10 months. Not only this, she returned to India with her son earlier this year and also accused her husband of cheating.

Recently, Daljeet had lodged an FIR in Mumbai accusing her second ex-husband of cruelty and fraud, on which Nikhil has now broken his silence and has made such revelations, hearing which the fans are quite surprised. 

Both of them met in 2022

According to Pinkvilla report, Nikhil Patel has finally broken his silence on the matter. He has released an official statement about what happened since the wedding. Nikhil said, "Daljeet and I met in Dubai in 2022 and then we got married in a Hindu ceremony in Mumbai in March 2023. After marriage, we moved to Nairobi, Kenya where I work and live. We lived together as a family in Kenya until January 2024, when she returned to India with Jaden."

Daljeet Kaur had insisted on going to Kenya

Nikhil Patel further said that Daljeet Kaur was insisting on going to Kenya. However, she knew that I was not legally divorced from my first wife. My legal team had also sent a letter to Daljeet's parents mentioning this. However, even after this, her parents said yes to this marriage. Patel said, "Our celebration in India was not legal in any way. 

Helped Daljeet in Kenya

In his official statement, Nikhil has also told how he helped the actress with her career in Kenya. He said, I gave Diljeet a studio for YouTube channel and podcast. She wanted to get work in India by writing scripts and releasing her short films in the market. Nikhil said that even when she did not get success by doing this, he still helped her in every project as a supporting partner.

Nikhil Patel further said, she sent a message to my eldest daughter and my friends, stating that she was leaving Kenya permanently and returning to India. I remained in touch with Daljeet for several weeks after she left and we used to talk daily.

During this, Nikhil also told that we have talked on video and phone calls many times in the middle of the night. During this time Diljit misbehaved with me and also abused me. He says, 'I tried my best to improve the relationship. Kept this matter private. I asked him to come back to Kenya, so that we can become a family again and resolve the differences.'

He added, "I wish Daljeet and Jaden all the best as they move forward with their lives. I hope Daljeet will finally let go of the bitterness and anger that fuels this constant public media vendetta and find her true inner healing and peace.
