Story of the film

Kareena Kapoor Khan looks very comfortable in the role of Jasmeet with British and Indian actors. Kareena looks effortless on the big screen and watching her in such an impressive style is not only interesting but also a treat. Kareena's performance is captivating. Despite being the center of the story, she is giving space to the other actors. This time Kareena's performance has very strong roots. It would not be wrong to say that director Hansal Mehta has proved completely successful in bringing Kareena on screen for the first time in such an avatar.

Chef Ranveer Brar is a natural in the role of Daljeet Kohli, the father of the deceased child. This is Ranveer's debut film, but his style is like that of a seasoned actor. He has managed to convince the audience with his acting by showing a misogynistic husband, unwavering love for his son and the tragedy of losing him. Aish Tandon also deserves a mention, who has completely adapted to the role of a grieving police officer. Prabhleen Sandhu's work in the role of Preeti Kohli is also commendable.
