New Delhi: Bobby Deol often expresses his love for his elder brother Sunny Deol and father Dharmendra on social media. Both brothers are very good friends. However, when Bobby was young, his relationship with his brother was not that friendly. The actor revealed in an interview that growing up he felt like he had two fathers. It took him some time to become friends with Sunny and Dharmendra.
Bobby said- I have two fathers
In an interview to Humans of Bombay's YouTube channel, Bobby said, "There is a big age difference between me and my brother. He is the eldest and I am the youngest. So he has always treated me like a son. He has always been protective of me, he always used to correct me and tell me that I get the best. It took me a long time to get close to him, to become friends. I have two father figures in my house."
Dharmendra was a very strict father
While talking about Dharmendra, Bobby said that he is a strict father. He said, "It was a normal thing then. It was also because my father came from a small town. In small towns, the society, culture and the way of thinking and living of the people was very different. The city changes your whole life. His father was always strict towards him, so it came naturally to him."
The actor further added, "My father was not strict, but he was never a friend while growing up. He was very busy and always working. I could meet him only for a few hours and that too late at night or very early in the morning." However, things have changed a lot now. He has grown old so you have to take care of him.
