In a candid interview with Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat, Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, head priest of Bageshwar Dham, expressed his desire to 'study about ghosts and supernatural activities at Oxford or Cambridge University'.
He also told how his mother had blessed President Draupadi Murmu by placing her hand on her head and said, 'Go to a higher position.' Pandit Dhirendra Shastri narrated many interesting anecdotes about his stay in London, his meeting with the Prime Minister of New Zealand and his nomination for the post of President of Mauritius.
He also narrated the story of Anant Ambani's wedding, eating pizza and the hotel in London
When asked why the Ambani family sent a special plan to Australia to attend Anant Ambani's wedding reception in July last year, Dheerendra Shastri replied: 'We were invited there. The work they did was unprecedented. They turned their wedding tradition, auspicious work, celebration into a festival and celebrated it with Sanatan culture.'
Apart from this, Dheerendra Shastri narrated a funny story about eating pizza during the show and also told how he got stuck inside a bathroom in London.

Rajat Sharma asked that Akhilesh Yadav was saying that if you want to get Bageshwar Baba's story done, then you have to spend 50 lakh rupees. A poor man does not have the capacity to get a story done by him. On this, Dhirendra Shastri said, "We would like to request him through your court that we take dakshina, there is no doubt about it. We will tell him that if his faith is awakened, then he should get our story done, we will come to his village, wherever he says, we will bring our own tent and sound. He will have to become the host. We will not take even a rupee dakshina and will go after narrating the story."
