There are goats here weighing from 60 kg to one to one and a half quintals. The bid for these heavy goats also depends on their beauty and breed. The price of these goats, which eat many types of dry fruits, ranges from Rs 25 thousand to Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand.

Like every year, this year too a goat market has been set up right in front of Shahmaruf Jama Masjid in Gorakhpur. The goat owners have brought them here. They want to get the highest price for their goats. Goats of many different breeds have come here for sale. Some have raised them by feeding them cashews, raisins and almonds, while others have fed them other dry fruits. You will also find goats with long ears, crest and beard here. 

Sultan has also come with his owner Rafiq from Shahjahanpur to be sold in this market of Gorakhpur. This goat of Totapuri breed is different from other goats. Sultan of Totapuri breed weighs around 90 kg. It is very beautiful. Its face is like that of a parrot. He told that he has put its price at one lakh rupees. He told that there is a lot of excitement in the market. He told that Johar Namaaz has ended. Buyers will also come now. The trader told that the name of his goat is Sultan. Its speciality is that it is very beautiful. 

Badshah likes dry fruits along with cucumber and beetroot

Trader Mohammad Asif has brought a goat named Badal from Azamgarh. He says that he has set the price of his goat at Rs 1.20 lakh. Its weight is around 80 kg. It eats dry fruits very fondly. It likes to stay with the family. Mohammad Ashar has brought a goat named Badshah from Azamgarh of Sirohi breed to the market of Gorakhpur. Ashar, who came to sell the goat, says that his goat weighs around 90 kg. He has raised it for one and a half years. He said that it is very beautiful. It is of a good breed. Its price is Rs 1.20 lakh. It likes dry fruits along with carrots, cucumber and beetroot.

 The price of Sultan and Sheru blew everyone's mind

The goat named Sheru of Kalpi breed of Rajasthan weighs 1 to 1.5 quintals. Its owner businessman Mohammad Shoaib says that it is tall. It is one year old. Its price has been fixed at 98 thousand. Wasim has come to the market with two goats. He has raised them for one and a half years. He told that he has brought Sultan and Sheru. Their weight is 50-50 kg. He has fixed its price at 60-60 thousand rupees.

This time the market is very expensive on Bakrid

Customer Mohammad Mudassir says that he has come to buy a goat, but this time the market is very expensive. He says that the goat of the local breed is considered very good. Zuber Ahmed says that he likes Sultan, but its price is very high, but it eats cashews and almonds, so its price is also high. He says that the goat should be one to one and a half years old. It should have two teeth and its ear should not be cut and its leg should not be broken. The goat should not be sick. That is, the goat bought for sacrifice should be completely healthy.
