Park is being prepared on the theme of Mini India

Designed on the theme of Mini India and in the shape of a lotus and spread over about 200 acres, the park will include eco zones, water bodies, replicas of historical monuments from different states, cultural activities etc. Talking about the capital Delhi, here you will see a replica of the round building of the old Parliament House.

Lord Buddha preaching peace and the replica of the famous Mahavira temple associated with folk faith in Patna will also attract your attention here.

Replicas of various famous buildings of different states including Hawa Mahal of Jaipur, Rath Mandir of Hampi in Karnataka, Ellora Caves, Cellular Jail of Andaman are being prepared here. The good thing is that most of these replicas have been prepared.

project running behind schedule

The park is being constructed jointly by NBCC and DDA. The foundation stone for the construction of the park was laid in the year 2019 in the presence of Union Ministers Amit Shah and Hardeep Singh Puri. It was then said that the project would be completed by November 2022.

Its total cost was kept at around Rs 530 crore, but the outbreak of the Corona epidemic put a halt to the timely completion of the project. After this the construction work slowed down. Later, the deadline for its completion was extended from time to time.

In between, an attempt was made to complete the construction work during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and dedicate it to the nation, but this attempt was not successful. If we look at the ground situation now, it is likely to be completed in the next four months.
