The mastermind was arrested

According to Delhi Police, one of the accused Sudarshan was earlier arrested by Punjab Police in 2021 in a case under NDPS Act. But after being released from jail, he again got involved in drug trafficking.

According to Delhi Police, first an accused named Vikas, a resident of Narela, Delhi was caught with 6720 Tramadol capsules. After that, on his information, medical store owner Sudarshan Ganaur was arrested from Haryana. According to Delhi Police, 505 Alprazolam and 664 Tramadol capsules were recovered from two medical stores of Sudarshan.
Delhi Police, while investigating the case further, arrested Sunil Kumar Bhardwaj, the mastermind of this drug syndicate, from Narela. During interrogation by Delhi Police, he told that he and Sudarshan have been running a medical store in partnership for the last 6-7 years. Sunil named Ajit of Sangam Vihar as a drug den. Delhi Police recovered a huge amount of drugs from Ajit's house.
The syndicate's wires were connected from Delhi to Gorakhpur
According to Delhi Police, the accused revealed that they had bought this medicine from Ambar Agrahari, owner of Shivam Medicos, Gorakhpur and Vijay Goyal of Agra. Police raided Gorakhpur but accused Ambar was not found there. After this, on the basis of secret information received by the police, he was arrested from a hotel in Paharganj, Delhi with 1 lakh 16 thousand cash. Accused Ambar has told that he along with his partner Surendranath used to buy medicines from pharmaceutical companies in Gorakhpur and sold them at a higher rate to earn more profit. The medicines were sent to Delhi via bus.
