News Topical, Digital Desk : New revelations have emerged in the Epstein Files regarding former British Royal Family member Prince Andrew. In the new revelations, he can be seen lying on top of a woman with his arms and legs spread. These images were released by the US Justice Department on Friday, causing a stir within the British Royal Family.
These photos are proving to be a source of political pressure on the former Prince Andrew. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called for him to testify before the US Congress. During his visit to Japan, Starmer said that justice for Epstein's victims is paramount.
What is in the pictures?
An undated photo shows Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, his arms and legs bent, looking into the camera. A woman lies below, but her face has been blurred for privacy reasons.
In the second photo, Andrew's hand is placed on the same woman's stomach. In the background, an unidentified man is sitting with his feet on a table. These photos were not captioned or contextualized, so it's unclear when or where they were taken.
An email chain from 2010 also included
The Epstein documents also include an email chain from 2010 in which Epstein invited Andrew to meet a "friend" in London. Andrew responded by saying he was eager to meet and providing his contact.
Epstein described the woman as a 26-year-old Russian, writing that she was "smart, beautiful, and trustworthy." These emails were sent two years after Epstein was convicted of soliciting sex from a minor.
Emails from a month later show the two planning to meet in London. Andrew suggested dinner at Buckingham Palace, where there would be "plenty of privacy." Epstein said he needed "private time."
Andrew has always denied the allegations and said he never witnessed or suspected any misconduct by Epstein. In a 2019 BBC interview, he said he severed all ties with Epstein in 2010.
The title of Prince was taken away only last year
The Justice Department released these files related to the Epstein investigation six weeks behind a congressional deadline. Epstein committed suicide in prison in 2019. These new photos and emails have increased pressure on Andrew to investigate. Last year, King Charles stripped him of his title of "Prince" and expelled him from Windsor Mansion.
